A Reusable Report System for Communicating Conservation Results
Overview
The Nature Conservancy in Maine produces programmatic impact reports covering Forests, Freshwater, Oceans, and Climate. The organization needed those reports to feel connected to one another and to the broader campaign brand while remaining readable across very different subject matter. Green Goat Maps created a shared report template and applied it across four program areas.
Scope of Work
Green Goat Maps was contracted to develop a modern report template incorporating TNC campaign branding, typography, color, and graphic elements; redesign four programmatic reports using that framework; and prepare high-resolution files through an iterative review process.
Key Deliverables
The final system included a reusable branded template and four coordinated impact reports. The shared design language improves consistency while retaining enough flexibility for programs with different types and quantities of content.
Challenges & Solutions
The main challenge was maintaining a recognizable visual system across reports covering substantially different topics. Green Goat Maps established repeatable page structures, hierarchy, and brand treatments rather than designing each document independently.
Results & Client Value
TNC Maine gained a repeatable communication framework that can make complex conservation information easier for supporters and stakeholders to navigate while strengthening visual consistency across programs.
