Combining Municipal Navigation and Essential Community Information in One Printed Resource
Overview
The City of Farmington needed a practical printed guide for residents and visitors that combined a detailed street map with the municipal information people regularly need to find. Green Goat Maps developed a community brochure integrating cartography, a structured street index, and essential resource information.

Scope of Work
To meet the needs of the community, Green Goat Maps was contracted to design a comprehensive city map, build a street index for quick cross-referencing, organize important municipal and emergency contact information, and create a print layout that remains clear despite a large amount of content.
Key Deliverables
The final brochure combines street-level navigation, landmarks and points of interest, an indexed reference system, and a centralized community-resource directory.

Challenges & Solutions
The project contained far more information than could simply be placed on a map. Green Goat Maps separated geographic information from reference information and used a structured street index and resource directory to keep each part of the brochure easy to scan. The design also considered future updates so changing municipal contacts or other reference information would not require rebuilding the entire product.

Results & Client Value
Farmington gained a single durable resource serving everyday navigation, municipal communication, and visitor orientation.
